Probably why nostr should have integrated all types of cryptocurrencies payment options instead of just implementing lightning…

But, in case you really underestimate the stupidity of such an

idea you are free to implement it. Nostr is open protocol and anyone can build anything on it.

I don’t think there’s a restriction on that. Like anyone come make a client that allows for other crypto payments. That the currently slate of clients does not, theoretically, just creates an opportunity for a someone to win with a client that does…

Would I be less likely to use a crypto client - probably…but who cares, let the market speak…
