I think it's hard to see all of the implications of nostr, and all of the integrations that are yet to come. We really need to come up with a solution where your private key can be kept offline in cold storage, but still interact fully with the protocol. Not sure if that's possible?

Interesting, thanks. Would it be similar to bip-85 in the sense that multiple keypairs can be created based off the root keypair, with no way to reverse engineer a compromised delegated keypair to find the root?
