Which is worse:

A) lose the private key for 1 bitcoin

B) lose the private key for your nostr account after using nostr every day for 10 years

Oh how quickly this 🟠🟣 protocol changes perspectives. 😂🤙

I think it's hard to see all of the implications of nostr, and all of the integrations that are yet to come. We really need to come up with a solution where your private key can be kept offline in cold storage, but still interact fully with the protocol. Not sure if that's possible?

Interesting, thanks. Would it be similar to bip-85 in the sense that multiple keypairs can be created based off the root keypair, with no way to reverse engineer a compromised delegated keypair to find the root?

1 bitcoin, unless your nostr DMs are 🌶️

Yeah I'm not that important but Bitcoin 10 years from now ... Easy call

Bitcoin.

C'mon, fam. Obviously "A" is worse

Has to be (a), because even if you lose the nostr key people will still be able to read all of your notes.

Hello, Professor! Good to see you here.

For sale: my nsec in 10 years. Price = 1 Bitcoin
