Okay now that I have some time to sit down, I will challenge your comment.
Yes, some people like to take snapshots but that is much different than photography. Also I never said that a certain persons photo needed to be "perfect" or "exact". I was referring to the "potential" of the subject matter, in this case, the leaf pattern and not the person's photo. I will do a similar photo because of that photograph.
The cliche that art and photography is "only" subjective is a true insult to any artist (I know you didn't say "only" but you implied it). There are a lot of principals and skill sets that go into making some "snapshots" into art.
By the way the piece in question, I thought was wonderful and inspired me, that is why I zapped. If you care so much, did you zap it?
So, please subjectively browse random snapshots on google for your art (or where ever) and I will enjoy the nostr #photography but not with your mindset of what art should be.
