I assume they do this so that they can track what each individual is doing on their devices presumably not to steal but to front run things they don't like?

Is there a work around?

idk

If available you can jailbreak the device to install what you want.

Get a Pixel device and install #GrapheneOS.

Stop using apple for anything.

What are they going to do when nobody builds bitcoin stuff on / for their OS?

Make them bite the bullet and force change.

preach it to basically all Americans please

Been trying to! πŸ’œπŸ«‚

Doing it every single day. And btw, iOS is crap. I spend so much time fighting issues with it since I turned on lockdown mode, that even windows is easier to maintain. When searching on the web, the most common solution is to turn of lockdown mode. But I'm not doing that. Just one less reason to use it even for normie stuff.

Clown show

To ask Tim Apple for permission.

This sounds like it’s not your device at all πŸ€”

No surprise at all there...

If you're using a fevice where a third party gatekeeps what you can install on your own device... don't complain, go #GrapheneOS.

Apple hates developers - Steve Jobs

It sucks because I actually really like Apple products. Wish you could still jailbreak

Imagina usar um sistema limitado pela empresa Γ© ainda pagar por isso.

Desculpa aos usuΓ‘rios da Apple, mas isso Γ© insano demais.

Perhaps it's not their device to begin with.
