I moved some small cash to a brokerage and it takes a full 7 days before I can use it.

I made a PayPal payment by echeck and got notified it cleared a full week later... I was like wtf this wasn't don't already? It also made me think this is so ridiculous why does it still work this way
I received a check to my fiat bank account that was over $10k. The bank put a 30-day hold on the funds but it had cleared!
