While I agree on some points, our bodies are magnificent and not weak at all. Maybe the automation of many aspects of life will allow us to live different experiences and discover our magic and who we were meant to be in the first place. Definitely not a pet but a creator I’d say.

We can barely move our necks if we sleep in the wrong position. We die if our body temperature gets out of the very strict 36.5–37.5 °C/ 97 F to 99 F. Our bodies are indeed magnificent. They are just extremely weak by today's standards.
We weren’t designed for survival. Hearts exposed, fragile limbs, eyes unprotected. Nature hates us.
Microbes die when boiled, and stars perish when they run out of nuclear fuel. What's your point?
