The opinions are directed by news media, etc. though I wouldn't be surprised if there were some accounts on payroll or bots to respond with the correct opinions on controversial posts, but the people are pretty well trained at this point to police themselves.

Spare me the fake outrage. Nepotism hires happen in all administrations. Whether in government or private enterprise, nepotism hires have always existed. Lebron getting his son (Bronny) on the Lakers basketball team, Biden getting his son (Hunter) on the board of a Ukraine energy company, Steve Doocy (Fox Journalist) getting his son (Peter) hired at Fox...on and on and on.
