Testing high performance HLS/adaptive bitrate video upload
Discussion
This is what I get in amethyst π€£
I will disable saving it, but meanwhile.... Slightly better, with a copy stack button
I tried compiling n failed miserably
Im never doing ARM based again
Nice work! I was wondering if large threads would be collapsed based on βweb of trustβ. I.e. you are presented foremost with responses from people you follow or they follow but see less from responses that are not linked to you.
I'm on primal.net on a linux box. I got a downloaded file master.m3u8 358 bytes no actionable file. System tried to open with VLC media player. no response
Damn primal doesnβt support HLS either? :(

Not a coder, but I saw you testing, so had a minute to send an observation. bummer
Does not work in Damus
What version you on? This has been supported in damus for about a year now. You may be stuck on an old iOS 15 version?
Does not work, latest iOS
Whaa. Its working on my phone. Maybe ios 18 thing ?

Gah! βοΈThe HDR is burning my eyes! π
Looks good! π Keep up the good work! π
On web, Primal and Iris don't render HLS
Downloaded an converted all the filenames in the HLS playlists to sha256 hashes so it would work with #blossom
It was a pretty manual process and I'm not even sure if the video will play, but in theory all the HLS chunks could easily live on blossom servers a blobs
