Context? Debian stable is stable?

Fedora is a good start as it has sel Linux by default...

It can be but not out of the box... Micheal bazzle has some great recourses on Mac & Linux and the security - privacy balance...

Where can those be found?

I believe it's in this one. He regularly updates the books and I get links to download the revised versions without additional fee which is great

The alternatives are openly back doored. Linux is gives you a chance to not consent to a backdoor. But who knows if its any more secure.

It's more secure because it doesn't let you consent to a backdoor

Doesn't secure it against having backdoors, just secures it against being able to honestly say you consented to being spied on

But I guarantee you that what is secure is based on it, and not on windows or macosx

That's a rather bold and vauge claim to make. Can you elaborate? It is true that vulnerabilities exist within the Linux ecosystem but it's still quite secure. It really depends on how you set it up. Or are you literally just talking about the kernel?

Solution? Alternatives?
