That must be exciting. I've been thinking of doing the same for quite some time.
Which Pixel did you end up using? What do you make of the experience thus far? Fairly easy to get set up? Most apps functioning well? Any surprises, one way or the other?
I can't justify spending money on a google product especially due to unknown hardware backdoors.
But if I ever get my hands on a Pixel for free, i will probably do the same, at least as a testing phone :)
