Exactly what i'm saying..

Okay. Well, charity and natural science studies are two separate industries, responsible of separate developments. Can we not walk and chew gum at the same time, so to speak?

We have humans dying here and diseases crazy. Let's fix that we don't need Mars

Space exploration is federal spending, while charity for the homeless is state spending. Both are separately limited by budgets. The federal government writes California, I'm assuming, a blank check, to solve things they see necessary, such as charity for homelessness. What the state of California actually does with that blank check is another story. I'd look into that. I can assure you that NASA has nothing to do with it.
