If you think it’s unreasonable, then don’t be a part of it. I’m here to acquire more Bitcoin, and I’m fine with you having less.
I don’t understand what problem you have with the ‘reasoning’ of Bitcoiners though. It’s really very simply and sane logic. I’m sure you’ve heard it before, but I’ll spell it out one last time for you.
Governments can issue money to fund their desires at no cost, therefore allowing them to potentially act against the will of their constituents while devaluing their citizens currency.
Bitcoin is a system where no government or individual can control the issuance of money, and therefore forces governments to spend responsibly and in accordance to the will of their people, as well as allows everyone around the world to have savings which maintain value over time without investment risk. Since this system is a net benefit over the current one, demand will increase with time. Considering Bitcoins supply is fixed and the new issuance is decreasing, the value of a Bitcoin will increase.
What are your other questions or criticisms?
Please for the love of god stop explaining Bitcoin to me. That’s not even the source of the disagreement.
Ok, carry on.
I’m not sure what your problem is, but if it’s not about fundamentals like problem -> solution and is instead about semantics then I’m less interested
