USA does everything it can to suppress the indigenous cultures while trying to make people assimilate to consumerism and abandoned their people's culture.
Ask any white american what they know about their European ancestors.
Trying to create a homogeneous culture of consumerism by suppressing the culture of the indigenous as well as the cultures of people's ancestors seem to be the actual issue.
Forced mixing doesn't solve anything either.

There is a natural bell curve where a small % of people migrate between countries and figure out how to assimilate, a % of people marry across ethnicities/cultures, and the majority of people carry on with their own and pass down their culture without needing any special conditioning at all (because it's normal).
