I really thought statism was on the ropes there for a moment but alas 😌
That's the point, it's never at stake
Even though the election favored the candidate I preferred, statism is still the true winner, with its restrictions and economic control. History shows us that, regardless of political leanings, state power tends to expand, inevitably stifling freedom and human creativity.
It’s time to look beyond parties and leaders. Austrian economics teaches that true prosperity comes from voluntary cooperation and respect for individual freedom. Bitcoin and Nostr are the first steps toward a future where people can interact and create without intermediaries or censorship.
There is hope in a decentralized world where value and ideas flow freely. More than changing governments, we need to transform how we understand and live out freedom.

If this version of statism eliminates citizen-based tax then I won't complain about the state for a minimum of one month ... and that's a promise. If not I'm ramping it up to 11.

True, statism wins, in a way, however: they’ve tried to kill Trump twice already. If they finally succeed…we might see some real change. In a way, I think the best outcome of the election would be an eventual successful assassination of Trump. I don’t wish death on him, but he’s had a long life and martyrdom would be a good spark for things to come. It’s a sacrifice I would make, especially at his age.
I wonder who would become Augustus Trump in the new American Empire if that were to happen.
Change that map to states where aborting is legal or illegal, and let's see if it still looks the same.
