Trump is not one of the good ol' boys. He doesn't play ball by their rules and he can't be controlled. He's a wild card, and that's bad for their business.

if he's meant to be dead he would be dead.
if they wanted him in jail he would be in jail.
or there's no such thing as deep state. It's a theathre and don't believe a single word he says.

Yours is effectively a Salem witch trial logic. If he survived their torture, then it's because they wanted him in power...
