ai “musicians” made nostr’s music client look bad. was hoping to share it with my friends who are real musicians, but now i’m too just embarrassed too.

Heard some seriously cringe attempts tbh. I've been more interested in RSS for music releases or even not releasing full stop and focusing on publishing. Whilst getting some sats, having my music alongside this stuff is a big turn off.

It's only going to get more pervasive too, in everything everywhere. Which I know you know, but damn it's such a hard pill to swallow 😅

It disappoints me how many “bitcoiners” spout off about proof of work, then flood the open music space with their low effort ai “music”. It makes them no better than shitcoiners making a meme coin so they can turn a quick buck.
When artists adopted computers to help with their art….same applies? Not an artist, just wondering. Maybe it’s the - low effort - part that’s the stickler?
It just feels so soulless and lifeless . the perfect music has raw emotions , imperfections and unpredictability . I really hope we’re not heading towards an internet that looks like a wasteland of synthetic soulless outputs that we need to sift troughs to find something real . Human touch in creativity is multidimensional and can not be ai generated
