How can you tell? I’m on #nostr #damus and never even see who follows me, unless I go to my profile and look it up.
Primal gives you notifications when someone fallows… all have not post\ and follow like 500+
Primarily a damus user, but using nostur to track follows. It doesn’t give follow notifications for bots though from what I’ve seen.

Yes, the UI is nice. A few different notifications there that are nice too, such as a new post count, followers, etc.
I don’t use it a super ton; I haven’t found a content filter, which I appreciate that damus has.

Does Nostur have PUSH notifications or only in-app notifications? Damus, in-app only?
Push being the banner on the iOS homescreen/topbar. In-App being the little notification button that will show past interaction activity, but you have to actually be in the app to access.
Both in-app only from what I’ve noticed so far.
Just turned all the notification settings on for damus, so I’ll confirm that.
Nostur doesn’t have an option to change outside of the app itself.

Hard to say. There were a few notifications within the app itself. It only seems to push when the app is open 🤔

And see where it takes you when you click the banner. That should likely explain what event is being notified. Not sure how they built it though. Might go to generic screen.
Apparently it's the nostr.mom relay. There were a lot of bot accounts in global

Yup! I got a bunch over the span of a week. About 2 weeks ago. Now they come at a slower rate. A few a day. Not sure what the point is, I don't follow ghost accounts and it's obvious they way it's been happening.
