People don't get married and do families as before, less families, less babies. The decline isn't caused by the suddenly decrease of n of childrens per family, but the number of new families itself.
The downfall of commitment and marriage is also a leading cause. Plus the rise of these cancerous dating apps was the final nail in the coffin. Cheap relationships that favor high time preference dating are seeked more than stable commitment.
Yeah that's a very fair take. The way of using dating apps is just a reflection IMO, as you can see the same downfall of commitment even in people not using them.
There are many factors contributing to it I think, and everyone has its own level of importance that vary depending on different individuals. One thing common I believe is the fear for future uncertainty, mostly related to, as we tend to say, by the tools of money we use, that in a way or another, influences the incentives and so the values of society.

I suspect this is one of those things that is a product of our environment and times - and so many factors go into that. It’s impossible to point to one thing specifically but a lot of it ultimately boils down to fiat access.
