I was mostly in the 70s for when I was running around the neighborhood until after dark...drinking from the hose, building bike ramps, having china berry fights (with slingshots), building mud slides on river banks and swinging on rope swings and doing gainers into the river.

And my saying - to my contact sport daughters - were "are you bleeding...are you still breathing...you are OK".

And yes - I am conservative.

+ “ski joggin” = in the north, grabbing on to the back of a stopped cars back bumper and going for a ride with you boots as skis

Absolutely!!

Sounds like my childhood, I did literally all of those things. God times

Livin' right!

Shoot, I forgot all about china berry fights! And we also shot at each other with daisy spring-action and pump-action bb rifles. Amazing enough, we still have eyes! I also recall lighting a lot of shit on fire. And this was late 80's,

We used to get across the creek from each other and try to shoot each other with roman candles...remember those?!?

We still do roman candles here. Rain fire down on our neighbors!

Sounds a lot like my childhood actually. Just left out bottle rocket fights on the 4th of July. Where the name of the game was light a bottle rocket, put it in a bottle, aim it at your friends, and try to dodge out of the way before it hits you. So much dangerous fun. Oddly enough no one ever lost at this game either lol.
