The United States should have never strayed away from the standard of the one income household being sufficient
But year after year post 1971 that reality was crushed. It’s as if the govt and corporations together hate families, then criticizes the declining birth rate, broken families and mental health crisis.
Every family in the U.S. should have the choice of one income household being more than enough. We’ve settled for so much less, and it’s fucked up. Two incomes is hardly enough.
It's the root of a lot of our broken social contracts.
It can be done

S - Single
I - Income
L - Lotsa
K - Kids
With a small fraction of available jobs and it gets worse wirh rising interest rates.
Its the fault ofFeminism and corporations
Feminism was a tool used to trick women into to working for broken money. The propoganda convinced them time theft made them richer.
I'm not against women working or "equal pay" in theory, but it only works if the underlying pay is denominated with an objective standard.
It's an inevitability in a credit based system. Where expansion is a necessity
The dark and nefarious capture of feminism was convincing everyone that the mother *had* to work. Or that motherhood shouldn’t be pursued at all.
And becoming a slave to corporate America.
If mom still wants to work and pay for child care, that’s fine! But the choice to stay home and raise the family and household was removed (which is a TON of work), that’s the problem. Corporations saw 2 for the price of 1, convinced us it was progress.
I am very grateful to be able to provide, alone, to my family.

Eliminate the State and the free market will find a way.
