My node is a raspberry pi 4 and I know the ops hate on them but it’s plenty for bitcoin. I kept it running nonstop while traveling and didn’t restart it once. It’s still running lol still haven’t updated it . The fact that bitty runs on these is a good thing. We need to keep it decentralized. If you needed a big powerful server for it to work we would have lost the plot.

I had the very first raspberry pi, I actually short circuited it by plugging it directly into the wall lol. They’ve come a long way. It’s a great project. Helping teach programming and Linux to the less fortunate.
Are you running lightning on it? Probably fine for 1-5 channels but a lil risky
I used to from like 2019-2022 with no issues but I closed my channels bc I didn’t care anymore lol now I use aqua and WoS
only reason mine goes offline is when my ISP interrupts my service for no apparent reason
I had one for several years..... got rid of tho. It kept stopping (not sure exactly what happened) but the only way to get it running again was to re-flash the software into it... It was a fun experiment for a windows user 😂
Got me motivated to plug back in my ras pi. These things are great for running a node
