āš”ļøšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø READ - According to this comment on 4chan: "Trump is trying to crash the stock market at least 20%, causing a flight into treasuries, this will cause the fed to slash interest rates so he can refinance the debt to near 0% and cause a deflationary spiral which will lower the cost of everything."

What do you think? #asknostr

Agree 100%. America has $9T of debt in total renewing in 2025 that is currently at 2.75% interest, would renew today at ~4.5%. They need this rate to go down or it’s likely to cause default, probably causing a depression. That’s what my reading has summarized so far🤷

20% isn’t enough. Supposedly 20% of the S&P companies were already insolvent, we need to flush the turds.

To refinance the debt, cut $1T in government corruption and take in tariffs, the entire income tax system can be shut down and it costs the government nothing.

Unsupported and oversimplified take. All the same, understanding sentiment and the various perspectives on current events is always fascinating.

If it works, he will be a genius.

If it fails, we'll see a second Great Depression.

Stay humble and stack sats.

4chan?? wtf kind of source is that

A surprisingly good one.

lol

Been saying this for a while. I don't think it's a secret, Trump has repeatedly said interest rates should be lowered. By doing it through tariffs he also gets to negotiate better trade conditions and piss off a lot of people. Triple win šŸ˜‚

The idea that ā€œTrump crashed the stock market to lower rates and help the poorā€ is straight-up fantasy. No one tanks the market on purpose unless they’re trying to self-destruct. Tariffs? They jacked up prices, not lowered them. And losing money in the market isn’t wealth redistributio it’s just… losing money. Eggs are cheaper? Cool, but that’s not because of some 4D chess move. This is barstool economics with a tinfoil twist.
