saylor said in a bloomberg interview that there would be ‘no bitcoin winter’ which is what all the engagement accounts picked up and broadcasted

but immediately followed that up saying we would probably drop 80% after a blow off top at a million lol

Didnt he say a couple hundred thousand if we hit 1 mill. That'd be 20%

listening back he said a crash down 200k per coin which i guess could be interpreted as either 20% or 80%

Still up 2x from now though. Winning

yea but that has been the case with pretty much every bitcoin bear

higher lows

I'll just stay humble and stack sats about it 🫡

same 🤝

No. He didn't say 'to 200k'. Also it's obvious he wouldn't (want to) contradict himself in such a way

He said ‘crashing down by 200k’. So 20% imo. I don’t believe it, but that’s what he said.

Yeah that's how I heard it.

Post is too long, sorry

Shorter version: 📈📉⁉️

Don’t tell Marty that 😂

I don’t see the issue really. What’s the odds of a blow off top to $1 million in the near term? 0.1%?. And so, barring that extreme outcome, no Bitcoin winter. Feels reasonable…

there is no issue

No winter below 100k is what I got out of the convo

He didn’t call for a blow-off top though.

Either way, going from 200k to 500k in a few weeks and coming back down to 200k over the course of 2-3 months and then continuing to carry on like we did between January and now is not winter.

Winter implies going back down to ~$70k or lower and taking multiple years to get back to the previous ATH. He doesn’t see that happening. I don’t see that happening.

Something resembling the price action we’ve had over the last 16 months is most likely.

i dont see that happening either

pretty sure last cycle was the only time the bear went under the previous all time high

usually “bitcoin winters” have higher lows

Things are already different. I have no reason to believe price action will revert to previous cycles where price action was predominantly influenced by retail.

every cycle is different

bitcoin stocks will probably lengthen both the bull and bear this cycle

The other cycles are siblings. This one is a second cousin 😂

I agree. I think we’ll see a decade long bull market fueled by the ETF and Bitcoin stocks, followed by a mild bear market lasting no more than a couple of years.

Fair take 👌

🤙🏼

Yes. That was a funny interview moment 😆. Maybe he defines “bitcoin winter” as a big crash followed by 12 to 24 months of smaller crashes and sideways movement.

ok

💀

😂🫡 🥹

What?

Never predict the short term price

Is Saylor the bitboy of this cycle?

Bitcoin gunna Bitcoin. I’m not worried about tomorrows price. My thesis is in tact and I’m here for generations.

This time is always different until it isn’t.

Let’s get to a million first 😅

He said 25% drop no?

Hmm I heard him say no more 80% drops from ATH's but we would see a 200K correction off a 1 million top and that would make people cringe as if it were a big deal. Obviously that's not a big deal. I will listen again to see if I missed what you heard.

Odell FUD??

this not fud lmfao

there is no need to be upset

Not upset and you're right it wasn't FUD

I thought he said it would drop $200k, not drop TO $200K. That would just be a 20% correction.

That is correct

Haha, love the optimism! 🙌 Even if there’s a drop, it’s all part of the rollercoaster ride with crypto. Just gotta hang on tight and enjoy the journey! 🚀💰

saylor has always been a bear

Figured there was more context as usual 🙄

Just a bunch of noise, 1 sat=1 sat🍯🦡

Gonna stay humble and stack sats about it

Many companies will be forced to sell their Bitcoin... or their custodians lose it all. It's all a cycle.

Classic Saylor always swinging between optimism and reality.
