i'm not going to eat meat raw FFS.

you can buy 5 years worth of Vitamin C for under $20, and that's if you mega-dose.

you would only need about $5 worth of Vitamin C over the course of 5 years to consume about 1,000 times more Vitamin C than Carnivore Diet contains.

You know sv3rige. He eats his meat raw.

because he's an attention whore.

the cost / benefit analysis doesn't check out.

there are many things you can do to improve your health that carry little risk - why focus on something that has relatively little payoff for a lot of risk ?

the answer is only for shock value to get publicity.

i have been on a Raw Meat forum as far back as 2010 looking into it but ultimately decided against it.

What risk? Are you talking about salmonella? There is a difference between raw and rotten meat. Its so difficult to find meat from a healthy animal that is safe to eat raw. Also organs are better to be eaten raw and not cooked.

worms that spread to your heart, lungs and brain is not something i am too keen on.

although i suppose the risk of this is small, what exactly is the benefit of eating raw meat ?

diet related issues are mainly due to:

1 - overeating

2 - deficiency

3 - toxins

which of those issues is raw meat solving ? deficiency ? it is trivially simple and cheap to just supplement Vitamin C.

i am just not aware of any health issues that are causes by cooking meat, as long as you get your Vitamin C elsewhere.

and meat, even raw, has very little Vitamin C anyway. you would have to eat Raw Liver or something to get Vitamin C and then you would probably overdose on Vitamin A.

our Paleo ancestors cooked their meat.

but they were not carnivores.

they also had berries ( which are very dense in Vitamin C )

Overcooking your meat would lead to carcinogens and that would lead to cancer.
