Interesting read, thanks for sharing

Jack Kruse is one of the only doctors I've encountered who has taken a whole biosphere understanding of health and illness.
It is an exceedingly rare quality. Much respect.
Is Jack Kruse on Nostr?
I always enjoy hearing him on Clubhouse
This is one of the biggest reason I can't go back to the fiat mines. We are not meant to be inside for 8 hours during peak sun
It blows my mind, we got so many 'remedies' when what's really needed is just a normal healthy lifestyle: go out and have fun, don't use sunscreen in the morning and in the late afternoon but protect your skin (cover it) during the peaks in the middle of the day. Breath fresh air, be physically active, eat food that grows outside, whatever it is, either veggies or meats. Drink plenty of water, sleep well, love your family.
It's really not that difficult.
Well this took forever to read - this graph is something I want to look into more. It challenges what I thought I had understood.

despite the goofus title, the content of this article is sensational.
i agree, generally. i grew up tanned and sunburned in the southwest desert. i do not wear sunscreen for a variety of reasons, mainly because of the carcinogenic chemicals in it which are heat activated (which seems...counterproductive). i have, at 40, already had skin cancer removed, so i am much more careful about too much sun. plus: i live in oregon.
circuitously returning to the title, i don't cosplay skin color for online use: it causes real-world actual racism and creates circumstances where skin color is an in-person joke because of flipped narratives. i'm a white liberal jewish woman and i don't discuss pronouns. i know that's confusing.
Genuine question: is it possible that you got skin cancer because you didn't wear sunscreen?
genuine answer: i wore sunblock as a child, as did most people. adult choice to cease after researching. i also grew up in the desert - sun exposure is intense and frequent. biology imbalances and cellular degradation in tcells due to toxic exposures manifest in a variety of ways - including carcinoma/melanoma/basal cell irregularity. it's not just one cause.
Don't just touch the grass. BE THE GRASS.

is there a “good” sun protection creme out there? sunburns are real…
Long deep breaths through the nose. 🙏
