To make 44 ounces of honey, it would take about 3,165 bees visiting around 15.8 million flowers. π
Pretty mind-blowing, right? π€―
How about this: In its lifetime, one bee flies about 500 miles just to gather enough nectar to make its tiny bit of honey (~1/12 teaspoon). So for 3,165 bees, that's over 1.5 million miles flown β just to make 44 ounces of honey. π―

Why don't they just go one mile to the store to buy some honey? Are they stupid?
