Yeah but it trades off with other worries. I try to live a good, meaningful life. If criminals are going to get me despite that, so be it.

Fair. My concern is when entities have sufficient information on us to build a comprehensive psychological profile on us, and then use ai to manipulate our sentiments in ways we can't even comprehend.

One mundane example: my friend uses chatgpt to build a job description. It would have otherwise taken him hours to research qualifications, etc.

I asked him why chatgpt suggested one qualification over another. He had no idea why.

Relying on AI means ai controls subtle elents of our daily lives. Perhaps one certification has more ESG elements in it, and so openAI pushes it over others.

Just saying we have to keep our guards up and prevent ourselves from being lead by the nose for the sake of convenience.

I would like to see different AIs be pitted against eachother to debate the merits of the generative work. So as opposed to competition being mediated by our weak meat computers, let them go at it at 10,000,000x speed and see what the result is.

Let there be light 💥

God did in fact meme existence into being.

Also $HAWK

Meatspace is a fallen plane and we are presented many tests. One test is whether you will allocate scarce resources to a blowjob token. This is one test I can say I passed though I fail in other ways

Me also, when I saw it launch, I spat on that thang 😂

That would just be a battle of biases to see which bias wins. I don't know that AI can reach any "truth". It's just statistically figuring out which word goes after another, at least in its current form.

Right but perhaps that's the result. A descent into incomprehensible madness would illustrate the risk of relying on these things too much. Rather than a generative dialectic, you would likely get madness.
