Yes lots of local farmers around me. I can also produce my own. I wouldn’t be able to raise livestock though other than chickens so I’d have to barter for meat. Ocean close too, can fish myself.

Perks of living in a rural area I guess

Perks those who want to make should pursue. There's nothing like driving from my home to work through the countryside seeing live-sustaining resources and people everywhere you look.

There are several reasons 2A is so important.

Plenty of Amish and ranchers near us, plus easy to start chickens again (can’t have while I work for a Turkey hatchery). And the bees… 🐝 😁
