didn't know the effect was that long-lasting

LFG 🔥💜🙌

Impressive brotha 🙏🏻🧬

No coffee ☕️ ???!? come on live a little

Good job, man. I'll have a few extra Guinness for you this weekend on Saint Patrick's Day. 🫂

Already on it, but well done Jack…🤙🏼

So brave.

Good work bro. Quitting caffeine is no joke.

The caffeine part is highly underrated. That's harder than the alcohol, imo.

Been thinking about quitting alcohol

So tough to do! Way to go!! 🎉

🫂

I had a no caffeine day the other day and felt like shit. I'm going to monitor and reduce my intake. Congrats on your achievement 🥳

caffeine withdrawals are miserable. you just have to commit with conviction, only lasts a week or so

It’ll be four years, or about one bitcoin epoch, for me this coming June without alcohol. You’ve got this 👊

and how is it?

double down? not bad! 💪

Congrats, Jack! Welcome to the club.

Nice work!!! Have you noticed any health benefits? Or just more spare fiat to stack with?

Jack I've got two words for you.

The alcohol part I could definitely join you with (up to 9 months without even a glass of red wine) but the caffeine, my god, I don’t I don’t know if I can do that - yet. Let’s see how it goes. Keep you posted. 😂🤣🤝🫡💪🏾

Congratulations 🫂

This book helps make it permanent if you want to.

but

Congratulations 🎊🎉🎈

Congrats 🎉 Mind over matter 👏🏻🫂🚀

So sorry to hear that.

congrats 🥳🎉

over 3 months for me now. feel so much better

Can we still have weed?

Weed before bed disrupts REM sleep

I'm ok with that.

We all make health trade offs daily 🤷🏻

Weed doesn't count. Your good.

OR caffeine it's a hard one here... BUT 3 months sober! o/

Respect

how are you feeling?

Alcohol is pure poison..

But coffee? I can’t 😭

👏🏼 that’s a big deal 👏🏼

I’m off caffeine for a month as well & I sleep way better.

congrats. 3 months off booze myself. too much to do. alcohol destroys your state of flow from one day to the next, it's amazing the exponential continuity that exists when you don't break your flow with alcohol. it really is a shitcoin.

My experience exactly. The constant weekend reset completely destroys productivity.

Did this last October and it changed me for the better, after 2 decades of alcohol. Push your comfort zone and become a better you.

That sounds terrible and boring!

Unless if you have a drinking problem (Alcoholic), then a GOOD thing!

bru i did 2 weeks of no caffeine, felt like I had taked 1/4 a valium every day

Well done. I quit caffeine in late 2023 and my sleep appears to be better since. I rarely drink alcohol but a few glasses of Martini Asti per year is allright.

The caffeine part I found much harder!

Are you having decaf coffee still?

nope

One month without life!

Congrats! Stick with it, I can attest to the long term benefit and value of your decision. #worthit

I understand the no alcohol stance, but I'm not on board with the no caffeine approach. Moderation is key, and if your body becomes too accustomed to high caffeine intake, taking a few weeks off can help reset your baseline.

Besides that, I didn’t notice any benefits from not consuming caffeine. Do you?

And obviously don’t consume it right after waking up (90+ mins is beneficial) or too late in the afternoon.

Congrats.

You got me beat with the caffeine part. Only two small cups a day though.

NIce job!

Been off alcohol for years but not coffee. I’m inspired. Which was worse?

Me too, 32 days. Booze, caffeine, & processed sugar. Been a tough one but plugging along.

Winner!

How does it feel ?

Quitting alcohol was the single best life decision I’ve made.
