This man’s face is tough to look at.

If they made BTC transactions below $100 tax free, this could boost Bitcoin payments massively!

Medium of exchange, here we come!

I thought she wanted to spend fiat and keep the Bitcoin?

What does that have to do with this?

she said we shouldn't be spending Bitcoin and she wants to pass a bill to make it easy to spend. Let me know if you need further explanation

I was under the impression she meant the US shouldn't spend it's reserves. Not that I should be taxed on my Bitcoin when I spend it. Those seem like two separate things to me.

No she said that at the Pubkey when buying burgers

Meh. I don't really care. The idea is good regardless.

You have to take politicians with a bucket of salt lol

They don’t know zaps already exist. They think birds can’t fly without government permission🙄.

Yessss this is the ONE thing I'm still holding out hope for from this administration...

Imagine a world with legalized zapping

If I have to report capital gains when I spend bitcoin that has appreciated since I acquired it, I should get to report capital losses when I spend dollars that have deprecated since I acquired them.
