It's not a mismatch, we're just early.

I spend with Bitcoin when I want privacy or when I want to build or maintain a relationship with the person.

It's ironic because they're 2 completely opposite needs/desires.

I don't buy stuff with Bitcoin for the novelty or to virtue signal any more.

I use Bitcoin regularly & have been accepting Bitcoin for a long time (4 years).

I've noticed Bitcoiners tend to be more eager to spend their sats when:

- their purchasing power is higher (bear markets suck to sell to Bitcoiners)

- when you connect with them

- when you have a quality, unique or hard to acquire product

I'm eager to get some good sativa dominant cannabis seeds (not feminised) from a Bitcoiner.

I would like to just buy the things I normally buy using Bitcoin.

I'm a big fan of Jocko Willink and I buy a lot of his ready to drink protein shakes.. if he accepted Bitcoin, that would be cool... his companies make all sorts of awesome made in the USA products.

The only thing I've ever actually purchased using Bitcoin is two bitaxe miners from Solo Satoshi over lightning and it just worked.

If I lived near a Steak N Shake I would eat there all the time.

Bought some Fries this summer in the Netherlands, at the Beach. With Lightning, using my nostr:npub13ljnkd633c7maxatymv3y2fqq8vt3qk7j3tt0vytv90eztwgha9qmfcfhw. They even gave 10% discount when you pay with Bitcoin. The guy knew what he was doing when typing in a LN invoice and presented the barcode for me to scan an pay. The whole thing took about 10 seconds.

That’s what I want. Peer-to-peer electronic Cash. No credit cards that convert your BTC in Euro or Dollar first to pay the other one. Just Bitcoin L2 or even some more advanced thing in the future.

You’ll see a lot of them at farmers markets and they cost a ridiculous amount and don’t work or you’ll see companies selling “tallow” products and it’s like the 15th ingredient.

I think the price for the quality of soap from soap miner is way too low and I think it’s because they recognize that if they can make a great product and sell it for bitcoin at a low price they will make more in the long run both by having loyal customers and the hard money increasing in value over time.
