I didn't know that they were broken
On the last few builds of the Damus TestFlight gifs would randomly stop playing and appear as still images. This latest build is supposed to fix it. So far so good 🙌

No i use the app store version, where gifs always not animated on damus?
No, gifs used to work fine and then with one of the recent builds something happened and they stopped playing. Must have made it into the current App Store version. The new TestFlight version last night fixed it, so I assume the next App Store update will be fixed to.
