Yep. Even 5%. Most don't even know what they have and are afraid of something just because they weren't told by a financial manager to buy. Index funds and 401k's help people stay poor if they don't know what they are doing.
We dont have 401k's here in the UK.
The closest i guess is a standard pension plan.
Mine is with legal and general. Every year i get a report and mine is split between blackrock, vangurad and a fiat currency pool.
Which is why i stack sats, and try to stay humble.😁
So even that, Blackrock is not an investment they are a firm, so with Blackrock actually means invested in some fund/s via black rock.
Yep your bang on there jack, though i have some control over where my pension is "invested" the prcosess of changing it is a time suck.
Time I'd rather spend on myself and building up the side hustle 😉
On the plus side im sure some of my worthless monopoly money is getting put into the bitcoin ETF, some how, somewhere.
And that idea makes me smile..😄
🤣 🎯💯
This is the reason I started buying BTC heavily in the first place a few years back. I realized I had no fucking clue what my 401K was actually invested in and that scared me.
