Or

2) Hmm... it's retail 99.99$ and you're selling it in good condition for 65$... so

"Would you take 30$?"

Drives me insane. Some people I counter higher than what I originally asked just so they get the point!

Yes, exactly.

I like to negotiate for a fair price sometimes. But I always am polite and just say I think it's a bit high and give some comps and then say what my offer might be. 95% of the time people are reasonable and it's cool.

It's the low ballers who just show up and message you "Will you take (60-70% less than asking)?"

No. New price for you is 20% more now.

Also, I used to collect vintage guitars. Occasionally someone would post a high value guitar for way less and I always messaged them explaining how this worth more and to repost it in line with market value.

That’s worth a ⚡️

This is exactly how I operate too. Negotiation is fair, but if they offer an insulting number, the price just went up.

My husband does tractor work on the side (snow-plowing, etc) He listed an add on FB for snowplowing and said if someone wants to pay in BTC he'll do the first hour for $1 ($1 worth of BTC) and you wouldn't believe the hate! I don't even understand it. I just had to stop reading as it pissed me off so much. He just laughed and said "it gets 'em talking."

I love his attitude! Gotta get those keyboard warriors talking. 😂

😂 would never dare but that tracks
