Nostr, can you shill me some water filtration units? A friend told me to get a Berkey. Is it worth it? I’m also open to something under the sink. #asknostr

Brita is better based on testing. It also tastes better compared to Berkey from my own experience

I've also read about the Berkey. I don't know enough though to say if that's the ideal one versus what I believe you described of a reverse osmosis system under your sink.

GE 3 stage reverse osmosis is the the way. RO dumps it all. Get some trace minerals to add to the water after RO. Filters from Amazon. Unit from Home Depot. Done fren!

I have a Berkey, used daily. Works great.

We’ve been using the Clearly Filtered pitcher for a few years and love it. They also have an under sink system: https://clearlyfiltered.com

Been using Berkey for several yrs now. Love it! I just bought the filters, and made the rest. Lot cheaper.

Which filters did you get? I was reading about their EPA battles

Hmmm. Don't know anything about that. Wasn't aware, in other words.

We had bought a multi pk about 5yrs ago when it looked like a SHTF scenario.

They last for about 5k gallons, and just replaced about a yr ago. So, I wasn't worried about it yet. We had bought straight from Berkey.

I'll have to look into it now.
