Amethyst does push for zaps and DMs. If that doesn't work, are you on playstore version?

well I had installed from nostr:npub10r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7stjt2p8 and thought that might've been the issue
ah now i understand, i think the version on the google play store includes google services integration which essentially takes over your phone.
No thanks, ill stick with the open source version of amethyst :)
