I have a Japanese joinery bedframe that is very similar and it’s held up great! Wasn’t thinking about it at the time but glad to know it’s also mitigating EMFs by being all wood!
The Thuma bedframe is made from solid wood and Japanese joinery, so there is:
- No metal that would ordinarily make your bed attract EMF like an antenna.
- Very little noise, as the tolerances on the joinery are very fine.
This bed frame will last forever, comes in various wood, and is #WorthTheSats.

Natural bed frame and mattress are the first things to get right.
After that, EMF window shades and potentially a canopy gets you to 99%.
I'd probably go bed frame - > mattress - > grounded pillow case - > emf window blinds and then a canopy as a last resort.
We also ended up with an organic mattress with no metal or springs thankfully! But at the time the organic mattress people were trying to sell the “hybrid” versions with springs
I hadn’t heard of EMF window blinds and canopy, I’ll have to look into those! Do you also separate your bed from the wall by 6-8 feet or is that not actually doing much?
I have it about 20inches away from the wall and my EMF reader shows that is sufficient.
