This was happening with the Nostur client as well. It’s because iPhone doesn’t give us a way to choose our default app to handle Nostr links. iOS automatically uses the most recent app you installed to open them. The temporary solution would be to either uninstall Current, or uninstall and reinstall Damus so it’s your most recently installed Nostr client.

It’s interesting as this is the first time it’s happened in nearly 4 months. I downloaded current at least a few weeks ago. Is it the type of tag or link?

Did they recently update? Handling of those links may have come in a recent update.
