#AskNostr what's the nostr native app that replaces clubhouse? So done with paid subscription based apps.

We've experimented with honey hivetalk it's ok 👍 but I imagine could eventually be a paid app too 🤷‍♀️

They all will eventually. It’s a common business practice to offer services at their own cost, initially, so they can build up a user base. Only then do they start charging for their services.

Nostr could possibly use it’s decentralized format to offset a good portion of these costs so you should be able to create a similar app for a nominal fee. At the very least, the community would be able to dictate pricing.

Thanks. Guess I got some building to do! https://media1.giphy.com/media/7qxSEA9NNZrSshzn2s/200w.webp
