This is the equivalent of moving the decimal space over 8 spaces. Bad idea. We will have to explain why there’s 2.1 Quadrillion bitcoin and what happened to the 21 million limit. Would also require a hard fork to implement. 
Or they just learn that sats are Bitcoin and the logo will make sense to people. I like it. I think its good idea.

Thats what it is silly 😂 sats are the standard and here they using Bitcoin logo as their symbol
Ok, I took another look at it. Maybe I was too quick to react negatively the first time around. Maybe I mistakenly thought it was somehow advocating for the bits nonsense, which I hate.
I still don't like the idea of using ₿ to designate sats. Normies are confused enough already.

Lol, I have seen all:
- Adopt the bits standard
- People will learn to count in decimsals eventually
- Adopt the 3 horizontal bars symbol
- sat with s in plural
- SAT never with s
- sats always sith s
- mirrored dollar sign $ for sat/SAT/sats (one of my favorite)
- now the ₿ is sat
This last one might be the most obvious for new users but quite confusing if not scary for existing ones without too much experience.
On the other side, people in finance are used to stocks being fractioned, so it might be ok if properly coordinated and informed (which is hard to achieve in a decentralized project like Bitcoin).
