Lot of mixed reviews on this…

Thought experiment:

Imagine you own a nostr client and just raised $5M

How do you grow? What’s the plan?

What is your vision?

What problem are you solving for your user?

IMO clients need to niche down until they can answer those questions.

Then deploy funds to make that niche sticky.

just don't

By consistently collecting and implementing user requests and even placing them above my commercial goals in the first 3 years at least. Additionally, I would fill the backlog in an open ticket system with these user requests, keeping them updated in that way. I think npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm does it that way.

You first need to achieve market dominance before you can influence the entire ecosystem. Primal is not there yet.

We have an idea that we are trying to execute. If you have funding... let's talk...! A lot of the points you bring up are similar to what we've been thinking.

We have a subset of content creators who can happily add value on the nostr side of things but they're waiting on the sidelines. We think an app we can point them to (apps vs protocol) will be much more successful to pique normie user interest (content consumers) which will in turn drive more content creators once the money is flowing.

We have at vision for a user-first experience with incredible UI that could bring a significant permanent audience that actually sticks around.
