If "normal Bitcoin" means L1 on-chain Bitcoin to you: it's not worth it (too slow and *way* to expensive).
Unlike sats to Bitcoin, this is sensible and necessary.
Just as no consumer cares which card network their credit card payment rides, they won’t care about Lightning.

This is sensible unlike the sats/bitcoin debate. LN is a protocol layer. People use "the internet", they don't think "I'm using TCP now, and then I'll use IP." Same should be true for bitcoin and lightning.
