Depends on how you do the BTC>XMR>BTC swaps.
Naively doing it thru any kind of CEX is not a good idea because they'll see both sides of the swap.
Best way would be doing it P2P with different trading partners thru something like Bisq or an atomic swap like UnstoppableSwap, BasicSwapDex, or Samourai's implementation
But if you must use a CEX there are better ways to do it (obviously this should be one without KYC):
1) Do the first swap using Exchange 'A'. Do the second swap using Exchange 'B'. This way no exchange has the full picture.
2) Wait at least a day to swap back. But the longer you wait the better.
3) Don't swap it all back in one go. Break it up into a few chunks. Don't consolidate after.
4) Do this all behind Tor or at least a solid VPN like Mullvad or IVPN. Change your tor identity or VPN server for each swap.
