#grownostr #aquaponics this is a U siphon. Using 1ā pvc, it connects two tanks water together. Glue the pipe with pvc cement, place in both tanks, use the hose and place on one end. You will remove all air in the pipe, which will make it level the two different tanks water levels automatically.

How robust is this in real life? How long has it been in use by you without needing adjustment?
Hose is likely the way you have to go with that set up. Another way though is just fill it, hold level and quick flip into the tanks.
FWIW make TWO per connection they do fail at times, usually due to gas build up in them over time from decaying matter. The nice thing with the hose is you can just re-prime once a week or so.
