May I suggest an option to serve them?
We had a small batch courgettes (zucchini's), so we steamed them.
Make a dipping sauce, grate (yes grate) the flesh of two tomatoes into a bowl, grate a garlic clove as well, add a dash of red wine vinegar, some salt and pepper and good olive oil.
Mix well and then add the steam courgettes to the bowl, mix gently, then serve π
I love cake with zucchini, cocoa, eggs and honey! Have a nice day!

Haha it's like that here too. One plant can be so productive people start just throwing zucchini in your car if the window is open. I like to make zucchini muffins and breads out of it and it's great to bulk up meals while you're on a cut.

"Zucchina" (singular feminine) and "zucchine" (plural) are diminutives of "zucca" (pumpkin), meaning "little pumpkins".
Don't know why in English they are using the plural masculine word (zucchini) that doesn't exist in Italian.
Well, we are used to Italian food nouns being somehow distorted... who cares, just eat them πͺ
PS I am in Brazil nowadays and found some sort of zucchine unknown to me, called "chuchu"... and I like them a lot!
