There are performance issues with large contact lists x many relays.
Try reducing your relay count

yeah 2000+ follows is quite large, and so is 15 relays. I try to stay at under 10 relays and less than 1000 people following.

batching should have at least helped with this, maybe we can look into this as a test case nostr:npub13v47pg9dxjq96an8jfev9znhm0k7ntwtlh9y335paj9kyjsjpznqzzl3l8 ? Doesn’t look like batching is helping here.
