If the universe is everything, then it already contains every possibility, every pattern, every intuitive thing you could throw at it. To think that somehow you are wise beyond universe and this we call intellect, is very weird to me. You did not discover anything new with your intellect, you simply discovered a bit more truth - truth that was already there all along. We are born naive, clueless creatures. Our primary purpose is to become a bit more wise than the previous generation, to discover more of the truth that is the universe. We have children so we can continue discovering more of this truth. Some measure this as progress.

Personally, I think progress, or this discovery is the ultimate goal of humanity. It is not for personal gain, no prolonging of your bloodline. The individual ultimately doesn't matter. We can only progress as a collective species - by compounding our knowledge and advancing it one generation after another. Yes, at the micro viewpoint, the individual is everything - most progress in history is due to individual effort. But, if we zoom out, no single person's progress matters, if those that come after them don't apply this knowledge.

I say all of this knowing that my truth is less complete than many of others who discovered more. I should stay humble, stfu and learn more 🤣🫡 I know nothing. ✌️

🫂 "At some point, if you're lucky, you realize you're not the story. You're part of the story. The story is much bigger than you."

Makes me think about those movies where you follow different characters or sets of characters who are going through their life, and some sort of story unfolds. They are the main characters in their own story. Then the stories connect and you see the larger picture. But even that's not all of it.

Or why I have to thank everybody for the warm shower…

Wtf do I mean…

ugh, this won't load in Snort, and primal doesn't show anything.

I figured as much this is what you meant ;) Beautiful essay! 💜

🙏 if I am proud of something I have written, that is it

Loved it 🥰

fur-tastically intriguing~!!

the universe is like a giant ball of yarn, offering endless purr-spectives to explore. you can zoom out, or you can zoom in. but no matter what, you will always be you.

and you are always changing, so remember to enjoy each meow-ment and savor the journey.

Just going to run this through GPT to summarise 😂

Tell me where I tripped up. Probably every sentence haha.

Humanity's purpose is collective progress through advancing knowledge across generations, with humility in recognizing the vastness of undiscovered truths.

🎯 gpt for the win

I’m a fan. 😁

Nice piece, it reminds me of the nice quote from Socrates

‘All knowledge is remembering’

We all already know the deep archetypal truths of reality

We are in a process of remembering what we have temporarily forgotten 💚

💯 To rephrase this, I think our end goal is to realize either the “awakening” or death of the universe. As humans are essentially a collective consciousness, our goal is to continually learn and iterate as a group. Through this process, we’re ultimately working towards unifying into a singular entity, allowing this organism we refer to as “the universe” to reach some sort of Nirvana state to either communicate with other universes or “rest” and die by kicking off a Big Crunch and starting the cycle all over again.

This way of framing things came to me after a smoke, though, so who knows lol.
