It’s such a crazy experience. Did anything break or get destroyed where you’re at?
I was woken up by a magnitude 4.3 earthquake in San Francisco last month and was so confused. I thought someone was shaking my bed but there was no one in my hotel room.
After I figured out what was going on I tried to rock the bed like the earthquake had done and I couldn’t even come close. Can’t imagine what an 8+ mag would be like since the Richter scale is log. Would be so fucking scary.
Nothing broken, but one of our party was asleep at the time... Not any more!
It was invigorating and the scariest part was that we're so close to an active volcano. That would have terrified me to have rocks falling from the sky.
One day the whole west coast will just fall into the ocean.

Some say it was 6.1... Normal earthquake for Costa Rica 😄
It was intense, the whole apartment made loud cracking noises, but the scary part was the howler monkey shouting that late lol 🙈
