Lithium is one of the most common elements on the planet. And Tesla is right now building mines and refineries for it in the US.
And I don‘t know which mathematical formula would prevent you from replacing all gas cars, since electric requires less resources.
As for the waiting, I have often waited at Fuel Stations in the holiday season, so far nothing like it with Superchargers.
And coming home, plugging in and having a full car in the morning is much more convenient than having to go a couple of extra miles to the next fuel station in rush hour traffic as I used to.
